Walkthrough
- 1Halfgild Wynac is in the Darkenmore Residence, The Pit.
- 2The jars are in the Walls of Mist in Celeste — Light ground, for a Dark errand, and the same building Gavin Magnus sends the Light path through for an unrelated reason. (Some sources call this location the "Proving Grounds"; that name doesn't match anything else checked for this guide, so it's treated as the same place under its more common name.)
- 3Three arches lead to three pillar keys: the west key is behind two centre buttons and a lever; the centre key needs a floor that rises when you approach the south-west wall through the central arch; the east key needs the front pool drained with all four pool buttons.
- 4One of the key puzzles is randomised, so expect to work it out on the spot rather than follow a route.
- 5A chest beyond the three keys holds the four soul jars — do not sell them, they are what makes a lich.
- 6Collecting soul jars from Thunderfist Mountain first has been reported to block this promotion. Do this one first if you are chasing both, though that interaction has not been checked directly.
