Sabotage the lift in the Red Dwarf Mines in the Bracada Desert, then return to Steagal Snick.

Completing this promotes Archer to Warrior Mage. A promotion raises the skill ceilings that decide what the character can ever become, so it is usually worth a detour. Class ladders.

Walkthrough
- 1Steagal Snick is in Snick House, in the village in north-east Avlee. He gives you a worn belt.
- 2The Red Dwarf Mines are in the Bracada Desert.
- 3Take the lift to the lower level and find the lift engine.
- 4Use the worn belt on it. Sabotage starts a one-hour timer — know your way out before you trigger it.
- 5The lower level holds magic-immune medusas, so bring something physical.
- 6Return to Steagal Snick.
